DNF at COTA Briscoe suffered a mechanical failure and finished 37th in the DuraMAX Grand Prix NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.

Impact The Joe Gibbs Racing driver started third on the grid and had great pace in the early laps. Briscoe would lead the first 8 laps from the drop of the green flag and then settle back into the field from there. The No. 19 Toyota would lose pace early in stage 3 and Briscoe would take the machine to the garage on lap 62 with a broken transaxle. His day would be over and Briscoe would collect the disappointing DNF in Austin.
