Runner-up in Singapore Verstappen finished second in the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Marina Bay Circuit on Sunday.
Impact The Red Bull Racing star would start on the outside pole and begin the race on soft tyres hoping to make a quick overtake of George Russell. That gambit would pay off as he'd fall in behind Russell and trail him to his lap 19 pit stop. Verstappen would complain over the radio at times about his downshifting and having problems with the car. However, the reigning world champion would overcome those obstacles and hold off a tight challenge from Lando Norris down the stretch to secure an impressive runner-up finish at the Marina Bay Circuit.

Impact Many different drivers would occupy P1 during this final session at the Marina Bay Circuit. However, as the session evolved and lap times dropped it would be Verstappen who would ultimately lead the way with his lap of 1:30.148. He would just edge Piastri by 0.017-seconds to top FP3 and the weekend. The Red Bull Racing star looks like a top contender to win the pole Saturday in Singapore.

Impact Verstappen would do a good job at the lights out covering Carlos Sainz going into turn 1. From there he'd control the pace and stretch his advantage with a long opening stint on hard tyres. Verstappen would have a comfortable 32-second advantage over George Russell by his lap 40 pit stop. He'd rejoin once again in the lead and cruise to 14-second victory over the Mercedes star at the checkered flag. It was the Red Bull Racing star's fourth win of the season and 67th-career victory.

Grabs Azerbaijan GP Pole Verstappen denied Carlos Sainz a shock pole position for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as Drivers' Championship leader Oscar Piastri crashed out, Formula1.com report.
Impact This pole qualifying was marked by multiple encounters with the wall and multiple red-flag stoppages. Verstappen would survive the chaos and advance into Q3. He'd post a lap of 1:41.117 of the challenging street circuit and beat Sainz by almost five-tenths to capture pole position. For Verstappen it was his sixth pole of the season and 46th-career pole position. The Red Bull Racing star will be the man to beat Sunday in Baku.

Impact Verstappen and Norris would battle wheel-to-wheel in the opening laps and while Norris would initially get past the Red Bull Racing star he would eventually give P1 back to him on lap 4. From that point on Verstappen would build a solid lead and move out to control the front. His lap 37 pit stop would see Norris take the lead for 9 laps, but Verstappen would soon retake the lead for good once the McLaren star made his pitstop. He would cruise to a 19-second margin of victory and

Impact It would end up being the usual suspects of McLaren, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes mixing it up in Q3 for pole position Saturday. Norris would appear to have a grasp of P1 in the closing seconds with a record lap of the Monza circuit. However, the celebration in the McLaren paddock would be short lived as Verstappen would post the final flying lap seconds later and bump Norris from P1 with his own record lap of the Monza track. It was the Red Bull star's fifth pole of the season and 45th-career pole position.

Runner-up at Zandvoort Verstappen finished second in the Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The Red Bull Racing star would get a tremendous start at the lights out and propel past Lando Norris in turn 3 of the opening lap to secure P2. However, Verstappen would surrender that spot back on lap 9 as his soft tyres began to degrade compared to the mediums most everyone else started the grand prix on. He would entrench himself in P3 the rest of the way until disaster would strike Norris on lap 64 with a power unit failure. Verstappen would move into second-place and finish there at the checkered flag for his sixth podium of the season.

Can't find pass in Hungarian GP Verstappen finished ninth in the Hungarian Grand Prix F1 race at Hungaroring on Sunday.
Impact Verstappen had one of his worst weekends of the season and complained of lack of grip and tire degradation. Just misses podium finish Verstappen finished fourth at the Belgian Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday.
Impact Verstappen got the best of both McLaren's during the sprint on Saturday to take home the win. However, he wasn't able to replicate that for the traditional race, instead spending nearly the entire 44 laps chasing down Charles Leclerc to try to reach the podium. Verstappen has now gone three races without a top-three finish, his longest drought of the season.

He would soon stretch out to a half-second lead as further back Lando Norris would also be overtaken by Charles Leclerc. Piastri would chase Verstappen for the full 15 laps but could only draw near his rear wing and couldn't catch him. The Red Bull Racing star would hold on in the closing laps to secure his first Sprint victory of the season and 12th overall.

Slips to fifth at British GP Verstappen finished fifth at the British Grand Prix F1 race at Silverstone Circuit on Sunday.
Impact Verstappen took a surprise pole position over both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, but he lost the lead on Lap 8. Rainy weather and a resulting pair of safety cars kept the field bunched together for most of the race, but Verstappen spun on a restart on Lap 21, causing him to drop to 10th place. He managed to gain some positions due to a combination of on-track passes and the team's strategy, but it was ultimately a disappointing day, and the team's gamble of a low-downforce setup didn't pay off on race day.

Claims British GP Pole Verstappen claimed an impressive pole position in Qualifying for the British Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver getting the better of the McLaren pair, Formula1.com reports.
Impact The Ferraris and McLarens would battle it out all through this heated qualifying session. His impressive lap of 1:24.892 would knock Oscar Piastri off the provisional pole by one-tenth in a thrilling finish to qualifying. It was Verstappen's fourth pole of the season and 44th-career pole position. He'll challenge for the win Sunday at Silverstone.
