Starting from rear Sunday Davison is starting from the rear in Sunday's Cup Series race at COTA due to unapproved adjustments with his No. 15 Chevrolet, Jim Utter of Motorsport.com reports.

Impact Davison is one of nine drivers being pushed to the rear for unapproved adjustments. He initially was starting 32 so his penalty to the rear isn't far off from where he would've started in the first place.
