Set to be called up Monday Pozo is set to be called up from Triple-A Memphis on Monday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Impact Pozo will join the major-league roster ahead of the team's three-game series in Pittsburgh beginning Monday. With Ivan Herrera (knee) set to be placed on the 10-day injured list, Pozo will operate as the Cardinals' backup catcher behind Pedro Pages for the time being.

Impact Pozo received a late invitation to big-league camp but never made much of a push for a spot on the Opening Day roster with the Cardinals likely to begin the season with Pedro Pages and Ivan Herrera as their catching tandem.
