Impact It marks three games in a row that Edwards has been absent from Miami's lineup. He did receive two plate appearances off the bench in Wednesday's game versus the Pirates, so it seems as though Edwards is available. The switch hitter did return from a back injury earlier this month, so this appears to be a situation where the Marlins are just being cautious with their young infielder.
