Tanner Rainey - Remains shut down Nationals manager Dave Martinez said Wednesday that Rainey (side) has yet to resume baseball activities at Triple-A Rochester, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Impact After being optioned to Rochester on Aug. 12 to work on his mechanics due to his poor results in the big leagues, Rainey didn't appear in any games for the affiliate before being shut down last week with left side soreness.
