Adley Rutschman - Sitting Monday Rutschman is not in the Orioles' starting lineup against the Brewers on Monday.

Impact Maverick Handley will serve as the Orioles' catcher Monday and bat ninth against Brewers right-hander Quinn Priester. Rutschman has struggled at the plate since the beginning of May, slashing .185/.241/.296 with two RBI over that span.

Chayce McDermott - In line to start Tuesday's game McDermott was added to the Orioles' taxi squad Monday and is expected to start Tuesday's game in Milwaukee, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Impact McDermott showed flashes in a spot start last week against the Twins, striking out five while yielding four runs over three innings. He missed the first month of the season with a lat injury and hasn't thrown more than 65 pitches in any outing, so McDermott is unlikely to go very deep into Tuesday's start unless he's very efficient.

Josh Bell - Goes yard in Sunday's win Bell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Orioles.

Impact The veteran slugger took Bryan Baker deep in the eighth inning, the last of five Nats long balls in a 10-4 rout. Bell has six homers and 15 RBI in 40 contests, but he's mostly had a miserable start to the season in his return to Washington -- incredibly, he has yet to collect multiple hits in the same game, leading to a .156/.242/.305 slash line.
