Juan Yepez - Goes deep in loss Yepez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Yankees.
Impact Yepez took Nestor Cortes deep in the seventh inning for this fifth homer of the campaign. Yepez has now hit two home runs in his last four games, after getting three in his previous 39 games this season. The 26-year-old has found regular playing time with the Nationals since being called up in the beginning of July, and he's slashing .284/.331/.451 thus far.

Impact Young took Mark Leiter deep in the eighth inning, his second homer in his last 14 games after not going deep in his previous 47 games. Young's calling card this season has been his speed, as he's one of 10 players with at least 30 steals this season. The 25-year-old has started every game this month at center field and is hitting .282/.313/.436 over that span.

Impact Parker gave up a leadoff home run to Gleyber Torres and had to battle his way to get through four innings, just allowing two runs. Parker's up-and-down campaign continues, as he's allowed two runs or fewer in five of his last six starts, but in between those games he allowed nine runs vs the Phillies. The 24-year-old rookie will carry a 4.26 ERA in 126.2 innings into his next start.
