Impact Miley made a two-inning relief appearance in his 2025 debut with the Reds back on June 4, but he's since moved into the Cincinnati rotation while Hunter Greene recovers from a right groin strain. The veteran southpaw was credited with a win in his first start Monday in Cleveland, but he gave up three earned runs on five hits and four walks over five innings. He'll make for a risky streaming option on the road versus a Detroit offense that has produced a collective 119 wRC+ versus left-handed pitching this season.

Impact Miley was inefficient in his first start of the year, tossing just 42 of his 78 pitches for strikes, and he also generated a mere three whiffs. The 38-year-old journeyman left-hander now has a 9.00 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 2:4 K:BB covering seven innings, but he figures to remain in Cincinnati's rotation until Hunter Greene (groin) returns from the injured list. Even so, Miley should be avoided as a fantasy streamer in most situations in his next scheduled outing against the first-place Tigers, who own an .804 OPS versus southpaws since May 1.

Impact Miley opted out of his minor-league contract over the weekend, but he's returned to replace the injured Hunter Greene (groin) and should slide into Greene's vacated rotation spot. The veteran left-hander missed most of 2024 following a hybrid UCL repair surgery and recently posted a 5.93 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 7:4 K:BB in 13.2 innings at Triple-A Louisville. It's not clear when Miley will make his first start for the Reds, but his last outing at Louisville came on May 30.

Impact Miley opened the season on Triple-A Louisville's injured list while completing his recovery from the hybrid UCL repair surgery he underwent last May. After making a trio of rehab starts with High-A Dayton, Miley returned from Louisville's IL on May 15 and logged a 5.93 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 7:4 K:BB in 13.2 innings at the Triple-A level. Since a promotion to the Reds wasn't imminent, the 38-year-old lefty has chosen to explore his options on the open market and will hope to land with an organization that can present him with a clearer path to the big leagues.
