Optioned off roster Taylor was optioned to the Brewers' alternate training site Monday.

Impact Taylor impressed in his time on the big-league roster, hitting .323/.400/.581 in 35 plate appearances. He's no longer needed with both Christian Yelich (back) and Lorenzo Cain (quadriceps) returning from the injured list, so he'll head to the minors to get regular at-bats and stay fresh for the next time the team needs another outfielder.

Impact Taylor thrived in the lead-off role with manager Craig Counsell deciding to give Kolten Wong the day off.
