Reinstated from COVID-19 IL Jankowski was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Friday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Impact Jankowski had been sidelined since Sunday since he was feeling under the weather. In eight appearances after the All-Star break, the 30-year-old went 7-for-20 with a double, four RBI, three runs and a stolen base.

Impact The team hasn't disclosed whether Jankowski tested positive for the virus or was deemed a close contact of an infected person or persons. Jankowski had been seeing an uptick in playing time in center field in recent weeks, but his move to the IL should clear the way for Odubel Herrera to slide back into an everyday role in the Philadelphia outfield.
