Ramón Laureano - Solo homer in loss Laureano went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays.
Impact Laureano walked in the third inning before launching solo shot off Jose Berrios in the sixth frame. The long ball was his sixth of the campaign and second in three games. Laureano has been heating up from the plate recently, going 9-for-29 with four homers, six RBI, eight runs and a stolen base over his last eight contests.

Impact Kaprielian held the Blue Jays in check Wednesday, limiting the damage to just a leadoff Matt Chapman solo homer in the seventh inning that ultimately ended his day on the mound. The 28-year-old has now produced back-to-back quality starts after failing to generate any in his first 11 outings of the campaign. Over his last four starts, Kaprielian has compiled a 2.78 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 14 strikeouts over 22.2 innings. He now owns a 5.06 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 41 punchouts over 64 frames in 13 starts this year.

Matt Chapman - Two hits including homer Chapman went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's victory over the Athletics.
Impact Chapman walked in the fifth inning before he later took James Kaprielian deep for a solo shot in the seventh frame. He also added a single in his final at-bat in the ninth. The homer was his 13th of the season and he has now gone deep in back-to-back games. Chapman came into Tuesday's contest in the midst of an 0-for-16 stretch from the plate, but he went 5-for-7 with two homers and three RBI in the final two games of the series to snap out of the cold spell.

Jordan Romano - Snags 18th save Romano pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two on his way to a save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Athletics.
Impact Romano was called upon to protect a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the ninth and he produced a 1-2-3 inning while punching out two batters. The save was his 18th of the season in 21 opportunities. Romano has now produced four straight scoreless outings following a blown save June 21 versus the White Sox, and he now owns a 2.70 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 34 strikeouts over 30 frames in 31 appearances this season.

Impact Berrios was very effective in this one, tossing five scoreless innings to open the outing. The only blemish on his line came in the bottom of the sixth inning via a solo homer by Ramon Laureano. Berrios has now produced two strong starts in a row following two clunkers, giving up three runs over 11 innings while striking out nine. The 28-year-old is tentatively set to pitch again Tuesday against the Phillies.
