Ezequiel Duran - Homers in win Duran went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.
Impact Duran belted a two-run homer in the fourth inning that erased the Rockies' early lead. He had a productive three-game set against Colorado, finishing the series 7-for-14 with three extra-base hits and eight RBI. For the season, the right-handed Duran is slashing .295/.352/.488 with four home runs and 23 RBI over 41 games. He'll continue to fill in at shortstop with Corey Seager (back) on the 10-day injured list.

Jake Burger - Homer in win Burger went 2-for-5 with a home run and an RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.
Impact Burger is continuing his productive season so far with the Rangers as he tallied a team-leading ninth home run and 33rd RBI. The righty is batting .296 with 14 RBIs in May while anchoring first base.

Josh Jung - Supplies game-winning knock Jung went 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-4 win over Colorado.
Impact Jung completed the Rangers' comeback in the top of the ninth inning, singling in the go-ahead run. It was his first RBI in 10 games and just the second over the last 17. Jung, who entered May on a tear, has slumped the last couple of weeks and entered Wednesday with a .212 average over the previous 13 contests.

Juan Mejia - First blown save in loss Mejia picked up a blown save Wednesday in the 5-4 loss to the Rangers, giving up one hit and tallying one strike out over a 0.2 innings.
Impact Mejia inherited the bases loaded with one out and the lead, but allowed a run to score on a pass ball by the catcher Brett Sullivan and on a single by Josh Jung. With several Rockies pitchers getting saves this season, Meija was in the mix for a closer role with three saves heading into this game. The right-hander should still be in the mix for save opportunities as he has not given up an earned run in seven relief appearances.

Jack Leiter - Escapes with no decision Leiter pitched five innings Wednesday giving up four runs off seven hits and two walks in the 5-4 win over the Rockies. He struck out five.
Impact Leiter is still looking at his second win of the season after his fifth start allowing more than three runs. The 26-year-old gave up the lead in the fifth after conceding three hits that inning. The first-round pick gave up his second-most hits in a game this season with seven, so there was constant pressure on the base paths the entire game for the young starter still trying to gain his footing in the big leagues. Next time on the mound, Leiter is scheduled to face Kansas City at home this weekend.

Kyle Freeland - No decision in loss Freeland tossed 4.2 innings in Wednesday's 5-4 loss against the Rangers, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks, while striking out five.
Impact Freeland could not make it through five innings in today's start as he has not made it past the fifth inning since April 7th. All five games in which Freeland has played since he got off the injured list, he has given up at least three runs for a 10.32 ERA on 22.2 innings. All of the runs today against the Rockies' Opening Day starter came with back-to-back long balls in the fourth by Ezequiel Duran and Jake Burger. The lefty is scheduled to make his next start against the Dodgers next week.
