Nolan Gorman - Drills sixth homer Gorman went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win against the Mariners. He was also caught stealing.

Impact The hot-hitting infielder took Chris Flexen deep in the fourth inning with what proved to be the game-winning long ball. Gorman is up to 11 extra-base hits and 22 RBI with an impressive .313/.397/.657 slash line through 78 plate appearances. He was stuck in a small 3-for-15 skid since his last multi-hit performance April 16.

Chris Flexen - Handed fourth straight loss Flexen (0-4) allowed six runs on nine hits and three walks over four innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Cardinals.

Impact Flexen struggled right out of the gate Sunday, coughing up a pair of runs in the first inning. He allowed another run in the third before Nolan Gorman took him deep for a three-run shot in the fourth. After yielding just three runs in his first two starts, Flexen has been hammered for 18 runs over the last 12.1 frames. His next start is lined up to be in Toronto where he'll look to lower his 8.86 ERA.

Jack Flaherty - Fans nine in win Flaherty (2-2) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks over six inning Sunday, striking out nine and earning a win over Seattle.

Impact All three runs against Flaherty came during the second inning, including Jarred Kelenic's solo homer. After that, Flaherty gave up just one hit over four shutout frames. He set new season highs with nine punchouts and 23 whiffs; his previous highs in those categories were six and 12, respectively. Since walking 13 batters in his first two outings, Flaherty has posted a 19:6 K:BB over his last three starts. He'll carry a 3.29 ERA into his next start, which is currently lined up to be a road matchup with the Dodgers.

Paul DeJong - Knocks three hits DeJong went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's win over the Mariners.

Impact DeJong was activated for his season debut Sunday and immediately made an impact with a three-hit game. He capped off the day with a solo shot off of Diego Castillo in the seventh inning. DeJong posted an .899 OPS with five extra-base hits and 16 RBI during his 12-game rehab stint in the minors.
