Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners lineups for June 11, 2021: Game No. 60 The Indians, on Opening Day II, are expected to play in front of more than 20,000 fans at Progressive Field on Friday night.
JUNE 11, 2021 CLEVELAND.COM
Taylor Trammell - Not in lineup Friday Trammell is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Cleveland.
Impact The outfielder will get his first day off since being recalled to the big leagues June 1. Dillon Thomas will start in center field and bat eighth.
JUNE 11, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Rony García - Likely to need surgery Garcia is evaluating multiple options to address his sprained left knee, but he will likely need surgery, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Impact Garcia had to be helped off by trainers after suffering the knee sprain during a long toss session Thursday and was later placed on the 10-day injured list. A detailed recovery timeline has yet to be reveled for the right-hander, but given that surgery appears to be in his future, he seems almost certain to miss the rest of June and likely a large portion of July.
JUNE 11, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Willi Castro - Sitting Friday Castro is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.
Impact Castro enters Friday in the midst of a 2-for-18 skid at the plate, so he'll get a chance to reset during the series opener. Jonathan Schoop will slide to second base with Miguel Cabrera manning first base Friday.
JUNE 11, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Harold Castro - Back in action Friday Castro (hand) is starting at third base and batting second Friday versus the White Sox.
Impact The 27-year-old was a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup with a right hand injury, but it's apparently a minor issue given his quick return to the starting nine. Castro has a solid .306 averaged through 106 plate appearances, though his lack of pop (one extra-base hit) limits his offensive value.
JUNE 11, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Niko Goodrum - Not starting Friday Goodrum is out of the lineup Friday against the White Sox.
Impact Goodrum is 1-for-19 over his past five games and will head to the bench Friday. Isaac Paredes will work at shortstop and bat seventh.
JUNE 11, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Dylan Moore - Raking in rehab assignment Moore (calf) is 4-for-8 with three doubles, a solo home run, a walk and three runs over his last two rehab games with Triple-A Tacoma.
Impact Moore also laced a single and stole a base in his first game with the Rainiers on Monday, and despite the small sample, his overall body of work would seem to suggest he's ready for activation. However, the Mariners may opt to let the valued utility man get at least another game or two in against minor-league arms before freeing him from the injured list.
