Noelvi Marte - Bumped up to High-A The Mariners promoted Marte from Low-A Modesto to High-A Everett on Monday.
Impact The top prospect in the lower levels of the Seattle system, Marte was handed the promotion after slashing .271/.368/.462 with 17 home runs, 23 stolen bases and a 22.2 percent strikeout rate over 478 plate appearances at Low-A. He'll likely finish the season at Everett and begin the 2022 campaign with the affiliate, but a hot September could put him in position for a quick call-up to Arkansas at some point next spring.

Luis Torrens - Not in Monday's lineup Torrens will not start Monday against Houston.
Impact Torrens remains the Mariners' primary designated hitter despite the fact that he's hitting a mediocre .223/.290/.431 on the season. Jose Marmolejos, who's hitting a considerably worse .151/.259/.312, will take over in that spot Monday.

Kyle Seager - Snaps tie in extras Sunday Seager went 1-for-6 with a go-ahead two-run double and a run in an extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Impact Seager was having a tough afternoon on the heels of his six-RBI breakout Saturday until he laced a double to shallow right field in the 11th with the bases loaded Sunday. The two-bagger plated J.P. Crawford and Mitch Haniger to snap 3-3 tie and inched Seager ever closer to the first 100-RBI campaign of his career by pushing his total to 93 across 135 games.

Jake Bauers - Delivers in extras Sunday Bauers entered Sunday's extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks as a pinch hitter in the top of the 11th and laced a two-run double while also subsequently scoring a run.
Impact Bauers was called on to hit for pitcher Yohan Ramirez in the 11th and the Mariners already holding a 7-3 lead, and his clutch two-bagger plated Tom Murphy and Abraham Toro to give Seattle even more breathing room. Bauers' playing time remains relatively sparse, but he's now reached safely in five of the last seven games he's appeared in.

Mitch Haniger - On base thrice in extra-innings win Haniger went 1-for-4 with an RBI single, two walks and two runs in an extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Impact While he didn't record one of the Mariners' four extra-base hits on the afternoon, Haniger did serve as a thorn in the side of Diamondbacks pitching throughout the contest with his constant presence on the basepaths. Save for back-to-back 0-for-4 performances Aug. 30 and 31 against the Astros, Haniger has been generating some fantasy-friendly lines of late, still posting a .294/.442/.412 slash line with a double, a home run, three RBI, eight walks and eight runs over his last nine games when factoring in that pair of hitless efforts.

Ty France - On base three times Sunday France went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs in an extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Impact France crossed the plate in the fourth and 11th innings in the marathon victory. The 27-year-old has reached safely in seven of the last eight games, pushing his on-base percentage to an elite .363 across 127 games.
