Heliot Ramos - Starting hitting progression Ramos (quadriceps) will begin a hitting progression at the Giants' spring training complex in Arizona on Monday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Ramos has been sidelined for a little more than two weeks with a right quad strain. He will build up his hitting progression and will likely need to show he can run the bases without issue before being cleared to go out on a rehab assignment. There's no timetable yet for Ramos' return.

Logan Porter - DFA'd by San Francisco The Giants designated Porter for assignment Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Porter has appeared in five major-league games for the Giants this season but has spent most of 2026 in Triple-A, where he is slashing .241/.292/.362 with one home run and 10 RBI across 65 plate appearances. With Porter DFA'd and Joel Peguero (hamstring) placed on the 60-day injured list, both transactions opened up spots on the 40-man roster for Wilkin Ramos and Buddy Kennedy.

Jesus Rodriguez - Optioned to Triple-A The Giants optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A following Sunday's game against the Rockies, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Rodriguez has provided depth both behind home plate and in the outfield since being recalled from Sacramento in early May, and in 14 major-league games he has gone 9-for-39 (.231) with one steal, two home runs and seven RBI. He'll return to an everyday role at Triple-A, where he boasts an .830 OPS with four steals, 14 RBI and six extra-base hits across 115 plate appearances this season.
