Impact Freeman gave the Dodgers some insurance with his seventh-inning blast, and it was almost necessary as the Giants pushed for a ninth-inning rally. The first baseman has gone 22-for-41 (.537) during his current 11-game hitting streak, which has seen him swat five of his 15 homers for the year. He's added 61 RBI, 64 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 31 doubles and two triples while slashing .324/.402/.544 in 93 contests overall.

Trea Turner - Goes yard in win Turner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Giants.

Impact Turner went back-to-back with Mookie Betts in the third inning as the Dodgers established their lead. This extended Turner's hitting streak to 10 games, a span in which he's gone 15-for-43 (.349) with four long balls, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base. Impact Betts opened the scoring in the third inning with a solo shot off Alex Wood, and Trea Turner also went yard for back-to-back homers to spot the Dodgers a 2-0 lead. This was Betts' second homer in three games since the All-Star break. Impact Price allowed two inherited runners to score on back-to-back RBI singles, but he was able to strike out Austin Slater to end the contest. This was the veteran southpaw's second career save and his first of the season. He's given up two runs on eight hits and a walk with four strikeouts in four innings in July. Julio Urías - Picks up ninth win Urias (9-6) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five over six shutout innings, earning the win Saturday over the Giants.

Impact Austin Slater got on base three times against Urias, but the Dodgers' southpaw only allowed two other baserunners (a walk and an error) to the Giants' No. 2 through 9 hitters. This was Urias' third quality start in four outings in July. He continues to post excellent ratios with a 2.72 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 99:24 K:BB across 102.2 innings across 19 starts. He's lined up for a tricky road start in Colorado next week -- he's allowed nine runs (six earned) across 7.1 innings in two starts at Coors Field this season, accounting for two of his five outings with three or more runs allowed.

Alex Wood - Labors through four innings Wood (6-8) took the loss Saturday versus the Dodgers. He allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts in four-plus innings.

Impact Wood needed 97 pitches (63 strikes) to complete his four frames, and he was relieved by Yunior Marte after issuing a leadoff walk to Gavin Lux in the fifth.
