Kyle Harrison - Poised to avoid IL Harrison (finger) completed a bullpen session Saturday and is expected to be included on the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Harrison exited his final Cactus League start Wednesday after developing a blister on his left index finger, but his ability to throw off a mound just a few days later puts him on track to avoid a stint on the injured list to begin the season. Milwaukee hasn't yet indicated if Harrison will pitch in either of the team's final two exhibition games Monday and Tuesday versus the Reds, but assuming the finger didn't present any issues for him during his recent bullpen session, the southpaw should be ready to make his first turn through the Milwaukee rotation once the regular season gets underway. The Brewers are still deciding where to slot Harrison in the pitching order based on the status of Brandon Woodruff (lat), who has been build up slowly during the spring but is also trending toward being included in the season-opening rotation.

Shane Drohan - Sent to Triple-A The Brewers optioned Drohan to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The left-hander was in the mix for a rotation spot but will instead begin the season in the minors after posting a 4.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB over 12.2 innings during spring training. Drohan, who was acquired from the Red Sox in the Caleb Durbin trade in February, is still likely to make his Brewers debut at some point this season.

Robert Gasser - Sent to Triple-A The Brewers optioned Gasser to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The left-hander struggled a bit during spring training with a 5.11 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 12.1 innings, though his 14:4 K:BB was more encouraging. Gasser returned to the big leagues for two outings late in the regular season last year after recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he won't open 2026 in the big leagues. Brandon Woodruff (lat) and Kyle Harrison (finger) aren't at full strength with Opening Day just a few days out, so it's possible Gasser could be back with the big club in short order.

Randy Vásquez - Concludes spring with 5.1 frames Vasquez completed 5.1 innings in a Cactus League start versus Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four batters.
Impact Vasquez allowed just five baserunners, but three of those circled the bases on home runs. This was presumably the right-hander's final appearance this spring, and if that's the case he'll finish the exhibition slate with a 4.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB over 18.1 innings spanning five starts. Vasquez is locked into a role in San Diego's season-opening rotation and could make his first start in the third game of the team's initial series against Detroit.

Ethan Salas - Shows out in Spring Breakout Salas went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and a stolen base against the Cubs in a Spring Breakout game Saturday.
Impact Salas starred for the Padres in the minor-league showcase, lifting a three-run homer in the fifth inning and adding a sacrifice fly in the ninth. The young catcher has struggled during the Cactus League slate, however, going just 2-for-11 at the plate but producing a 3:1 BB:K. He's still only 19 years old and has plenty of time to develop, though this could be a big year for him in the minors after Salas registered a lowly .544 OPS over 41 plate appearances in Double-A last season.
