Osvaldo Bido - Falls to San Diego Bido (1-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Padres, allowing two runs on nine hits across five innings. He struck out five.
Impact Bido did a good job of limiting the damage against a potent Padres offense. However, a pair of runs proved enough to stick the right-hander with his first loss in a 2-1 defeat. The 29-year-old Bido now has a 3.00 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB through his first three starts (15 innings) this season. He's currently in line to face the White Sox in his next outing.

Robert Suarez - Picks up sixth save Suarez earned the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Athletics, working around a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.
Impact Suarez issued a lead-off walk to Tyler Soderstrom, though he'd need just two more pitches to close out the win, inducing a double play off the bat of Shea Langeliers before retiring JJ Bleday on his subsequent offering. Suarez now leads the majors with six saves -- he's yet to allow a run or a hit through his first six innings.

Randy Vásquez - Grabs first win Vasquez (1-1) earned the win Wednesday over the Athletics, allowing one run on one hit and three walks over five innings. He struck out one.
Impact Vasquez wasn't overpowering Wednesday, but he was able to hold the A's to a lone second-inning run, which would prove to be enough to earn the win in a 2-1 San Diego victory. Command has been an issue for Vasquez early in the year -- he's now issued 12 walks through his first 15.2 innings. However, the right-hander has pitched to a 1.72 ERA while holding down the fifth spot in the Padres' rotation.
