Brewers visit the Red Sox to open 3-game series

The Boston Red Sox open a three-game series at home against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday

Impact This would seem to rule out a more serious injury like an oblique strain for Frelick and he should be considered day-to-day for now. The Brewers face righty Brayan Bello in Boston on Monday, so the lefty-hitting Frelick could be back in action after sitting Sunday vs. a southpaw.

Impact Frelick initially tweaked his knee in early May and battled through soreness off and on for the rest of the season, though he never went on the injured list because of the knee issue.
