Goes yard in defeat Tellez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to Baltimore.

Impact Tellez snapped a 12-game homerless cold spell, also plating just his second run since May 18. The veteran slugger has functioned as Seattle's primary first baseman this season, although it appears that pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park is severely hampering his fantasy appeal. Tellez boasts a .915 OPS over 67 at-bats on the road, but he owns a dismal .483 OPS across 68 at-bats at home.

Racks up three hits in win Tellez went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 13-1 win over the Rangers.

Impact Since a three-game binge with three homers and seven RBI from April 18-20 in Toronto, Tellez had gone just 2-for-12 across his last eight games. The first baseman broke out of that funk with a trio of singles Friday, making him one of six Mariners to log multiple hits in this blowout win. He's batting .194 with a .680 OPS, four homers, 13 RBI, nine runs scored and no stolen bases over 69 plate appearances. Tellez is in a strong-side platoon role at first base, though Donovan Solano has poached a few at-bats versus righties.

Getting day off versus lefty Tellez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Cal Raleigh will get a day off from catching and will fill in for Polanco as Seattle's designated hitter, while Donovan Solano covers Tellez's usual post at first base.
