Contract selected by Miami The Marlins selected Simon's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Impact The 25-year-old will take the roster spot of Griffin Conine, who was placed on the injured list Sunday with a dislocated shoulder. Simon has a .962 OPS through 15 games with Jacksonville this year and will be making his MLB debut if/when he gets into a game.
