Pair of doubles Tuesday Acuna went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Tigers.
Impact Acuna led off the bottom of the first with a double and then doubled home a run in the third inning, getting the best of Casey Mize both times before the right-hander was lifted with groin tightness. Acuna has posted back-to-back two-hit games, as his bat is starting to heat up after an extremely slow start to the season. He's slashing .248/.360/.381 with just two homers, nine RBI, 15 runs scored, six stolen bases and an 18:26 BB:K across 136 plate appearances.

Swipes sixth bag Acuna went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Phillies.
Impact The steal was Acuna's sixth of the season in 29 games, albeit in 10 attempts. While it's encouraging to see the 28-year-old outfielder running more freely -- it took him 95 games to record 10 SB attempts in 2025 -- Acuna's bat hasn't gotten going yet, as he's slashing .239/.356/.358 with two homers, eight RBI and 14 runs.

Swats second homer Friday Acuna went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Friday's 5-3 win over the Phillies.
Impact After Trea Turner hit a two-run homer in the top of the third inning, Acuna answered right back with a game-tying two-run shot of his own off Andrew Painter in the bottom half of the frame. It was just Acuna's second homer of the season and snapped an 11-game drought after it took him 14 games to hit his first of the year. He's been scuffling at the plate to begin the 2026 campaign and will carry a .235/.350/.363 slash line with two homers, eight RBI, 12 runs scored and a 16:22 BB:K over 123 plate appearances into the weekend.

The 28-year-old outfielder has a .304/.418/.500 slash line with four doubles, a triple, a homer, two steals, three RBI and nine runs in his past 12 games as he's bounced back from a slow start to the campaign.

Braves' Ronald Acuña Jr. hit by pitches twice vs. Nationals and leaves game

Ronald Acuña Jr. left the Atlanta Braves’ game against Washington in the sixth inning after Nationals starter Jake Irvin hit him with a pitch for a second time
APRIL 21 • Associated Press
Considered day-to-day Acuna (undisclosed), who was removed from Monday's game against Washington after being hit by a pitch twice, is being considered day-to-day after X-rays returned negative.
Impact Acuna appeared to be in pain after being hit by a pitch on his left hand during the top of the sixth inning, though the team has yet to confirm that he was removed as a result of the hand injury. His status will be worth keeping a close eye on leading up to the second game of the series Tuesday.
APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE
Lifted early Monday Acuna exited Monday's game against the Nationals with an undisclosed injury, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact Acuna was hit by a pitch twice before leaving the game. The more concerning HBP took place in the top of the sixth inning, when he was struck on the left hand, though he managed to remain in the game to run the bases after being examined by the club's medical staff. Acuna will presumably be sent for further tests to determine the severity of his injury.
