Ryan Borucki - Activation imminent Borucki (wrist) joined the Pirates in Cleveland on Saturday and could be activated from the 60-day injured list Sunday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Impact Borucki has been dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome in his left wrist since early April. He began his rehab assignment Aug. 17 and has given up a run while striking out eight in five innings across five appearances.

Ryan Borucki - Could return to big club Sunday Borucki (wrist) joined the Pirates in Cleveland on Saturday, and he could be added to the expanded 28-man roster Sunday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Impact Borucki has been dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome in his left wrist since early April. He began his rehab assignment Aug. 17, and he has given up a run in just one of his five outings. Major-league rosters expand to 28 players Sunday, and Borucki and left-hander Colin Holderman (wrist) are both expected to be taken off the IL.
