Andrew McCutchen - Lands on injured list McCutchen was placed on the 10-day injured list with left knee inflammation Monday, retroactive to Aug. 1, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Impact McCutchen was slated to miss a second straight game Monday, but he'll land on the IL after he underwent an MRI on Sunday. The Phillies haven't said whether the outfielder will require more than 10 days on the shelf, but Brad Miller and Luke Williams could see increased playing time in his absence.

Anthony Banda - Joins Bucs The Pirates claimed Banda off waivers from the Mets on Monday.

Impact Banda doesn't have any minor-league options remaining, so Pittsburgh will need to clear a spot for him on the 26-man active roster ahead of Monday's series opener in Milwaukee. The 27-year-old lefty has made five career big-league starts, but he's worked in long relief over his five appearances with the Mets in 2021, giving up six runs on 14 hits and a walk over 7.1 innings. Pittsburgh will likely plug Banda into the bullpen initially, but he could emerge as a rotation option if the Pirates' starting depth is tested over the final two months of the season.

Jean Segura - Plates three runs Sunday Segura went 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI, a run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh.

Impact Segura was another top performer for Philadephia on Sunday, but the reality is that the second baseman has been seeing the ball extremely well over the last few weeks and has hit safely in all but one of his last 13 games, posting a .278/.355/.463 slash line with two homers, 10 RBI, four doubles, seven runs scored and a 6:6 BB:K in that span.

J.T. Realmuto - Enormous against Pittsburgh Realmuto went 5-for-6 with two doubles, four RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Impact Realmuto made his presence felt early in the game with an RBI single in the first, scoring Travis Jankowski, and he later added an RBI double in the fifth that scored Bryce Harper. The star catcher wasn't done for the day, though, and he chipped in with a two-run single in the eighth as well. This was one of the most complete individual performances in the entire season and it boosted Realmuto's average to a solid .278 mark since the beginning of July. He continues to be one of the most productive backstops in the entire league.

Didi Gregorius - Breaks out slump Gregorius went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Impact The veteran shortstop entered this game on a 2-for-22 slump but ended that woeful stretch in a big way, contributing with three of the team's runs and posting just his fourth multi-hit game since May 4. Gregorius chipped in with a two-run single in the seventh and later added a sac fly that scored J.T. Realmuto in the eighth. He's still struggling of late but this game should undoubtedly be a confidence booster for the 31-year-old.

Alec Bohm - Extends hitting streak Bohm went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Impact Bohm plated a run with a bases-loaded walk in the eighth, allowing Bryce Harper to cross home plate, and later added another one with an RBI groundout that scored J.T. Realmuto. The third baseman has hit safely in four straight games and is slashing .333/.412/.433 over his last 10 games.
