Activated, optioned to Triple-A Lambert (forearm) was activated from the injured list Thursday and was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Impact Lambert made three rehab appearances with Triple-A Albuquerque, building up to three innings in his final outing. He'll likely continue to stretch out in the minors and could be an option for the Rockies rotation at some point later in the season. Lambert is in line for his first significant game action since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2019.

Impact Lambert has made two appearances with Albuquerque, combining to throw three innings. He was sidelined while recovering from Tommy John surgery for much of 2021 but did return to throw 5.2 frames. However, Lambert has been on the injured list early in 2022 with forearm inflammation, and once activated he should either fill a bullpen role in Colorado or remain a starter at Albuquerque.

Set for season debut Lambert (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Impact Lambert is expected to make a one-inning start for Albuquerque in what will mark his first appearance in affiliated ball of the season. He missed the entire 2020 campaign and most of the 2021 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he was expected to be back at full strength for spring training. However, he battled right forearm inflammation in camp, which ended any hope he had of winning a back-end rotation role with the big club. The Rockies still plan to have Lambert build up for starting duties during his rehab assignment, but he could be optioned to Albuquerque once his rehab window comes to a close.
