Season-high nine Ks in third win
Corbin (3-2) earned the win Wednesday against the Rockies after allowing three runs on four hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out nine.
Impact
Corbin established a new season high with nine punchouts, which also represented his most Ks in a start since 2023. Wednesday marked his second straight quality start, and the veteran left-hander also produced a strong 15 swinging strikes, notably fanning six in a row at one point. Corbin will take a solid 3.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 29:13 K:BB over 37.2 frames into a tough matchup on the road against the Yankees, who boast an .878 OPS versus left-handed pitching through their first 42 games.

Takes loss despite quality start
Corbin (2-2) was tagged with the loss against the Tigers on Friday, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out three across seven innings.
Impact
It was another strong outing for the veteran southpaw, though he took the loss for the second time in his last three starts after being outdueled by Detroit ace Tarik Skubal. Although he generated only four whiffs and issued four walks, Corbin was able to complete seven innings for the first time in 2025 while tossing 93 pitches (50 strikes) and inducing 12 fly balls. It was his first quality start of the season, and the 35-year-old has a 3.13 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 20:12 K:BB across 31.2 innings. Corbin is lined up to face the Rockies at home next week.

Pitches well again Saturday
Corbin allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Saturday.
Impact
Corbin served up a leadoff homer to J.P. Crawford in the first inning, but the Mariners were unable to score on him after that. The veteran lefty fell one out shy of his first quality start of the season, though he did extend his streak of giving up two or fewer runs to four outings. Corbin hasn't completed six frames in a start yet, but he's enjoying a bit of a career revival in Texas so far, posting a 3.28 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB over 24.2 innings spanning five starts.

Handed first loss
Corbin (2-1) yielded two runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Monday, striking out five and taking a loss against the Athletics.
Impact
Corbin worked through four scoreless frames before running into trouble in the fifth inning. He gave up two extra-base hits in the inning and was removed from the game after Tyler Soderstrom's two-run double. Corbin generated a season-high 12 whiffs, including six with his slider. He has not given up more than three runs in any start this season but has not completed six innings in any of those outings. Corbin will carry a 3.79 ERA into his next start, which is expected to be at home this weekend against the Mariners.

Nabs second win
Corbin (2-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 8-5 victory over the A's, giving up two runs on seven hits and two walks over five-plus innings. He struck out four.
Impact
The 35-year-old lefty tossed 85 pitches (57 strikes) as he continues to give an injury-thinned Texas rotation surprisingly solid innings. Through three starts, Corbin has a 3.77 ERA, but his 1.53 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB are bright red flags that he's still the same pitcher that was saddled with a 5.71 ERA over the prior four seasons with the Nationals. With Kumar Rocker beginning to come around, the Rangers could have a tough choice to make once Jack Leiter (finger) is ready to return from the IL.
