Jace Peterson - Homers Wednesday Peterson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 11-3 loss against the Yankees.
Impact Peterson cut the A's deficit to 4-2 in the second inning with a solo shot off Jhony Brito, going back-to-back with Carlos Perez. It's the second home run of the season for Peterson and his first since April 3. The 33-year-old utilityman has a modest four-game hitting streak, going 5-for-11 in that span. Still, it's hard to see a path toward fantasy relevance for Peterson while playing a part-time role on a struggling Oakland team. On the season, he's slashing just .214/.305/.311 with 11 RBI, 10 runs scored and four stolen bases through 118 plate appearances.

Impact Bleday has hit the ground running with Oakland, going 11-for-25 with three homers through his first eight games since he was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas. As a rookie with the Marlins, Bleday hit just five homers in 204 at-bats while slashing .167/.277/.309. Bleday, a first-round pick in 2019, is worth a flier in deeper formats as he should at least be afforded a regular starting job with the Athletics.

Impact Bader opened the scoring Wednesday with a two-out, three-run homer off Kyle Muller. The 28-year-old Bader has been on a tear since rejoining the Yankees, going 11-for-28 with three home runs and a 1.341 OPS in his first eight games. He's already more than halfway to his total of five homers in 292 at-bats last season. While Bader's current pace isn't sustainable, he does offer some power/speed upside while playing a regular role in a strong New York lineup.
