Returns from injured list The Cubs reinstated Hoerner (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.
Impact Hoerner was placed on the injured list last week with a left hamstring strain and now returns after a minimum stay. The 26-year-old infielder is batting .303 on the year, although he holds just a .652 OPS in his last five games.
