A.J. Minter - To have season-ending surgery Minter will undergo surgery May 12 to repair a torn left lat, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Impact Minter was moved to the 60-day injured list Thursday, and it's since been disclosed that he's elected for season-ending surgery. The veteran southpaw was off to a strong start to the 2025 campaign, allowing only two runs in 13 appearances.

Jesse Winker - Looking at lengthy absence Winker has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 oblique strain and is expected to miss the next 6-to-8 weeks, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.
Impact This is unfortunate news for Winker, who was officially placed on the 10-day injured list Monday after suffering a side injury during the first game of Sunday's twin bill against the Cardinals. The injury will open up plenty of opportunities for Starling Marte and Brett Baty in the DH slot.

Impact He's grabbing the roster spot vacated by Jesse Winker (oblique). Baty is behind Luisangel Acuna and Jeff McNeil in the pecking order at second base and behind Mark Vientos at third base. His best shot at playing time in the short term might be at designated hitter, although Starling Marte should be at the top of the depth chart there.

Jesse Winker - Officially lands on 10-day IL The Mets placed Winker on the 10-day injured list Monday with a right oblique strain.
Impact Winker suffered the injury Sunday during the first game of a doubleheader in St. Louis. The severity of the strain has now been revealed, but oblique injuries often results in longer than minimum stays on the IL. Starling Marte should soak up extra starts at designated hitter while Winker is out.

Luisangel Acuña - Not starting Monday Acuna is not in the Mets' starting lineup against the Diamondbacks on Monday.
