Freddy Peralta - Pitches well enough for win Peralta (10-5) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five over 5.1 innings as he got the victory over the Mets on Sunday.
Impact Peralta started off a little rocky after giving up a solo home run to Francisco Lindor in the opening frame. He ran into some more trouble in the fourth after a single and two doubles to kick off the inning scored two more runs for the Mets. A walk and a base hit with one away in the sixth would cap his day at 91 pitches. He was charged with one more run before it was all said and done after one of the inherited runners came in to score. Peralta has taken a bit of a step back over the final two months of the season. He owns a 4.71 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 50:9 K:BB over eight starts since Aug. 4. He's still been magnificent overall, as he now sports a 2.81 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 195:56 K:BB over 144.1 innings. The Brewers could choose to rest some of their starters over the final week of the season in preparation for the playoffs, Peralta included. However, he has a chance to make one more regular-season start next weekend against the Dodgers.

Kolten Wong - Scores three times Sunday Wong went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and three runs scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Mets.
Impact Wong walked each of his first two times up at the plate and came around to cross home both times. He later crushed a double to deep center field in the sixth and would score again to put the Crew up 8-4. The 30-year-old has now hit safely in eight of his last 10 games and continues to enjoy an excellent campaign at the dish this season. He's now slashing .274/.340/.453 with a career-best 14 home runs, 49 RBI, 70 runs scored, 11 steals and 31:80 BB:K over 477 plate appearances.

Willy Adames - Leads Crew to division-clinching win Adames went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk, three RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Mets.
Impact Adames showed out on Sunday as the Brewers clinched the National League Central with a win over the Mets. He started off by taking Carlos Carrasco deep to left in the first to put Milwaukee up 2-1. He would reach base three more times throughout the game and was able to cross home again twice. The 26-year-old has been absolutely brilliant since coming over to Milwaukee. He's slashing .289/.370/.529 with 19 homers, 57 RBI, 57 runs scored, four steals and 44:98 BB:K over 533 plate appearances since joining the team May 22.

Carlos Carrasco - Lasts just four innings Carrasco (1-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out three over four innings as he took the loss to the Brewers on Sunday.
Impact Carrasco struggled off the bat, as the Brewers got to him in the first on a two-run home run from Willy Adames. Three more runs would then end up scoring in the second on two walks, two base hits and an error. He would go on to toss a pair of scoreless innings afterward before his day was over. Sunday was the first time he's fallen short of reaching five innings since Aug. 15 when he gave up six runs in just two innings. Carrasco has now dropped back-to-back decisions and has allowed four walks in two of his last three starts. He owns a 5.73 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB over 48.2 innings this year. He's set for one more start next weekend against Atlanta.

Javier Báez - Plates two runs Sunday Baez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Brewers.
Impact Baez's first hit of the day went for a two-run double in the fourth to make it a 5-3 deficit for the Mets. He later notched a base hit in the sixth but was left stranded on third. The 28-year-old Baez has been rolling in September, slashing .373/.453/.614 with five homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored, five steals and 9:23 BB:K in 23 games. He's hit safely in each of his last 10 games now. Baez has certainly been a worthwhile addition since being acquired at the trade deadline and will have some big decisions to make in the offseason as the end of the season approaches.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Francisco Lindor - Launches early home run Lindor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Brewers.
Impact Lindor got the Mets on the board early with a solo home run off Freddy Peralta in the first inning. The long ball was the 27-year-old's only hit of the day and his first since he hit three against the Yankees in one game on Sept. 12. Lindor is not having the season he hoped for in his first year as a Met. All of his hitting statistics are down in comparison to past years. He's currently slashing .228/.322/.402 with 18 homers, 56 RBI, 69 runs scored, 10 steals and 55:90 BB:K over 494 plate appearances.
