José Peraza - Starting Monday Peraza (calf) will bat sixth and play second base Monday against the Rockies.
Impact Peraza had been out of the lineup since leaving Friday's game against the Marlins after getting hit in the calf by a pitch, though he appeared off the bench in each of the next two games. He'll be involved from the start of this one and will look to improve upon his .211/.268/.342 slash line.

Lewis Brinson - Taking batting practice Brinson (finger) took batting practice Monday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Brinson hit the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a sprained left middle finger. He'll be eligible to return Thursday and seemingly has a chance to do so if he's able to hit without setbacks.

Elieser Hernandez - Sharp in latest rehab start Hernandez (biceps) covered four scoreless frames for Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out eight.
Impact Hernandez pushed his pitch count up to 55 (39 strikes) in his second rehab outing for Jacksonville. The right-hander has looked strong during both of the starts, allowing no runs while posting a 12:2 K:BB in 7.2 innings. The Marlins will likely have Hernandez make one more rehab start for Jacksonville before activating him from the 60-day injured list early next week.

Edward Cabrera - Ready for second live BP session Cabrera (biceps) is scheduled to throw a second live batting practice session later this week, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Impact Cabrera experienced no setbacks with his left arm after throwing 20 pitches against live hitters Saturday, so he'll repeat the activity again before potentially beginning a minor-league rehab assignment. The Marlins will likely have the 23-year-old build up his pitch count over at least a couple outings at the lower levels of the minors before he eventually settles into the rotation at Triple-A Jacksonville.

Sixto Sánchez - Bullpen session scheduled Sanchez (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Sanchez has been dealing with inflammation in his right shoulder since the end of March. The team has brought him along very cautiously, prioritizing his long-term health over maximizing his innings in a season in which they look like clear underdogs. While his progress has been slow, it's been fairly steady, and he remains on track to return sometime in June if he can continue avoiding setbacks.

Starling Marte - Heading to Triple-A for rehab Marte (rib) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Impact Miami hasn't indicated how long Marte will stay with Jacksonville, but assuming he's able to play a full game in the outfield over the next few days, he could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list as soon as the weekend. Marte appears to be progressing more rapidly than expected from a non-displaced fracture of his 12th rib, an injury that was originally expected to keep him on the shelf until early June. The Marlins have cycled a number of players at center field in Marte's stead over the past month, with Magneuris Sierra picking up most of the starts at the position of late.
