Blayne Enlow - Rises to Triple-A The Twins promoted Enlow from Double-A Wichita to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

Impact Enlow gets his first taste of Triple-A after he displayed improved results in his second go around of Wichita, where he finished the 2022 campaign. Over his 11 appearances (10 starts) this season spanning 54 innings, the 24-year-old posted a sterling 65:13 K:BB while pitching to a 3.50 ERA and 1.13 WHIP.

Nathan Lukes - Gets rare start Sunday Lukes went 0-for-2 before being replaced by pinch hitter Santiago Espinal in Sunday's win over the Twins.

Impact Lukes has seen very little action this season from the end of the Blue Jays' bench, and he's done little to demand a bigger role, batting just .158 (3-for-19) while mainly being used as a pinch runner or defensive replacement. The 28-year-old still has all his minor-league options remaining, but so far he's avoided being a regular passenger on the shuttle between Toronto and Triple-A Buffalo.

Nate Pearson - Notches another win Pearson (4-0) picked up the win Sunday over the Twins, allowing one hit and striking out three over two scoreless innings.

Impact The right-hander needed only 25 pitches (16 strikes) to knife through the Minnesota order, and he was still the pitcher of record when Cavan Biggio launched a game-winning homer in the bottom of the eighth inning. Pearson's four wins have come in only 16 appearances, including three in his last four games, and his 2.05 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB through 22 innings highlight how well he and his 98 mph fastball have adjusted to a high-leverage bullpen role.

Daulton Varsho - Picks up ninth steal Varsho went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Twins.

Impact He was on the front half of a double steal with Whit Merrifield in the fifth inning, giving Varsho his ninth pilfer of the season. The 26-year-old is also doing more damage with his bat lately, and over his last 15 games he sports a .269/.345/.519 slash line with four of his 11 homers on the year.

Impact The veteran continues to enjoy a summer resurgence. Over his last 20 games, Merrifield is slashing .366/.430/.465, and on the season he's now up to 17 steals through 60 contests -- one more than he managed in 139 games last year.
