Josh Winder - Throws in camp game Winder (shoulder) threw 43 pitches over 2.2 innings Tuesday in Twins camp, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Impact Twins president Derek Falvey told reporters Wednesday that Winder got up to 94 mph with his fastball but then also added that the 26-year-old right-hander will not be stretched out into a full starter's workload in order to protect his ailing shoulder. It sounds like he's going to be viewed as a long reliever whenever he's deemed fit for live competition.

Bryan Reynolds - Starting in LF on Opening Day Manager Derek Shelton said Reynolds will start in left field in the Pirates' season opener Thursday versus the Reds, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Impact The Pirates had indicated with their words and also actions this spring that Reynolds was likely shifting over to left field, which allows Jack Suwinski to handle center. Though Reynolds projects to see the bulk of his starts in left this season, Shelton noted that the 28-year-old could play center on some days. The Pirates are reportedly still trying to sign Reynolds to a contract extension following his offseason trade request.

Rob Zastryzny - Appears to make Opening Day roster Zastryzny appears to have made the Opening Day roster for the Pirates, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Impact Zastryzny signed a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training back in December. The left-hander earned one of the final spots in the bullpen by throwing 7.1 scoreless innings in the Grapefruit League with a 10:1 K:BB. The 31-year-old has made only 24 appearances in the majors over four-plus seasons, but he'll have a chance to stick in the Pirates bullpen if he pitches well in the early part of 2023.
