However, he didn't get any run support from the Nationals' offense and was forced to settle for a second straight loss. Scherzer tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Philadelphia on Saturday.

ImpactGarcia left Saturday's matinee with a hamstring cramp but didn't appear off the bench in Sunday's loss to the Brewers. He'll now return to the minors after he went 1-for-5 with a triple, a run and a strikeout in three appearances during his stint with the major-league club.
