Impact The 26-year-old was recalled from Nashville last week and appeared in three games while up with the big club, going 4-for-10 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and three runs. Toro could return to the majors later in the season when the Brewers need infield depth.

Brian Anderson - Back from injured list Anderson (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Anderson has been on the shelf nearly three weeks with a back strain, but he'll rejoin Milwaukee's active roster Thursday after completing a two-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville. The 30-year-old had a strong start to the campaign but has struggled to a .568 OPS since the beginning of June.

Impact Megill made only one appearance out of the Milwaukee bullpen during his five-day stay in the majors and gave up two earned runs on four hits in two innings. The 29-year-old right-hander owns a 5.84 ERA in 83 career appearances at the big-league level.

Impact Downs is expected to get regular playing time on the Nationals' infield following Wednesday's demotion of Luis Garcia, but the 25-year-old former top prospect doesn't offer much immediate fantasy appeal given how poorly he's performed this summer in the minors. In his 45 games (166 plate appearances) between the rookie-level Florida Complex League, High-A Wilmington and Triple-A Rochester, Downs was slashing just .165/.319/.308 with three home runs and eight stolen bases.

Tyrone Taylor - Homers in loss Taylor went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Nationals.

Impact Taylor put the Brewers on the board with a solo home run off Mackenzie Gore in the top of the second and was later replaced by Sal Frelick in the seventh. Impact Miley pitched well in his return to the rotation, with the only damage against him coming in the third inning when he allowed a leadoff double to Alex Call to open the frame, followed by an RBI single to Jake Alu.
