Mitch Longo - Signs minor-league contract Longo signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Thursday.
Impact Longo appeared in 90 games for Double-A Akron in 2019 and slashed .248/.320/.370 with five home runs and 29 RBI. He'll now serve as organizational depth for the Brewers, and he's been assigned to Double-A Biloxi.

Jean Segura - Activation imminent Segura (quadriceps) will be activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Impact Segura started a rehab assignment Tuesday but should return to the Phillies' lineup for Friday's series opener against Atlanta. Segura missed just over two weeks due to his right quadriceps strain but hit .333 with a home run and five RBI in 17 games to begin the season.
