Trevor Rogers - Slated to start Tuesday Rogers is listed as the Marlins' probable pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Nationals in Washington.
Impact Rogers has been the Marlins' top pitcher this season, but because he tossed 18 pitches in Tuesday's All-Star Game and since the organization has a desire to monitor his innings count, he won't take the hill until Miami's sixth game of the second half. With the 23-year-old having already racked up 101.1 innings in 2021 -- up from 28 innings during the pandemic-delayed 2020 campaign -- Rogers could be a candidate to get shut down in September or have starts skipped periodically over the final two months of the season.

OdĂșbel Herrera - Nearing rehab assignment Herrera (ankle) will begin a short rehab assignment next week, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Impact Herrera is eligible to be reinstated from the 10-day injured list as early as Tuesday, but he'll require additional time on the shelf before he's cleared to return. However, the Phillies are optimistic that the outfielder won't require many rehab games prior to his activation.

Garrett Cooper - Headed for MRI Cooper will receive an MRI on his left elbow Monday, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.
Impact Cooper was removed from Sunday's loss in the bottom of the eighth inning after Travis Jankowski ran into his elbow on his way to first base. A better idea of the 30-year-old's status could be revealed once the results of his MRI are known.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. - X-rays negative Chisholm (shoulder) underwent X-rays on Sunday that came back negative, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.
Impact Chisholm has been diagnosed with a bruised left shoulder after exiting Sunday's game against the Phillies. Although it's encouraging that his X-rays were negative, he'll undergo further testing Monday to determine the extent of the injury. If the 23-year-old is forced to miss additional time, Joe Panik and Jon Berti could handle the duties at second base.
