On track for Monday start Scherzer (hamstring) completed a bullpen session Saturday and is scheduled to start at St. Louis on Monday, Matthew Moreno of Dodger Blue reports.

Impact Scherzer exited his Wednesday start after six innings due to a tight hamstring, but the issue appears to have been minor, as manager Dave Roberts said that the veteran hurler felt "good" after Saturday's bullpen. Scherzer has been dominant since joining the Dodgers in late July, posting a 1.29 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 50:5 K:BB across 35 innings covering six starts. He has gone 4-0 during that span.

Tight hamstring ends dominant start Scherzer left his start Wednesday against Atlanta with a tight right hamstring, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Impact Scherzer actually felt the tightness during pregame warmups but felt good enough to give the Dodgers as many innings as he could. He was dominant as usual through six innings, striking out nine while allowing zero runs on three hits and no walks. He'd thrown just 76 pitches (56 of which were strikes) but was removed for reliever Brusdar Graterol, who gave up the game-tying run to rob Scherzer of his 13th win of the season. Neither the veteran nor his team appears to be overly concerned about the issue, however, with both Scherzer and manager Dave Roberts saying he is expected to make his next start Monday in St. Louis.

Impact Scherzer was dominant, working into the eighth inning before being lifted in favor of reliever Shane Greene with two out and his pitch count up to 104 (71 strikes).
