Impact Foster was initially optioned to Triple-A on April 1, but the White Sox will bring him back from the minors less than a week later after reliever Ryan Burr (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday. While he's up with the big club, Foster will likely be limited to low-leverage work out of Chicago's bullpen.
