Power breakout at Triple-A Lara is slashing .367/.456/.551 with two home runs, eight steals and a 6:8 K:BB in 13 games for Triple-A Nashville.

Impact Lara is known for his excellent speed and outfield defense, and while he has been a productive hitter while being young for his levels, his power has always been well below-average. This year, however, Lara has a .184 ISO after never logging an ISO over .087 in a full-season league from 2023 through 2025. His 103.6 mph max exit velocity is still below average, but his 44.2 percent hard-hit rate is strong for a 21-year-old at Triple-A with his defensive tools. This could just be a small-sample fluke, but if Lara continues to produce across the board offensively, it will only be a matter of time before he's up with the big club.

Promoted to High-A Lara was promoted to High-A Wisconsin, Ben Badler of Baseball America reports.

Impact Lara -- as an 18 year old -- posted a .733 OPS and 39:46 BB:K over 318 PA with Single-A Carolina, and the Brewers are ready to give him a shot at the next level. If he can maintain that type of plate discipline he will have a shot to rise up prospect rankings in the coming years.

Reaching base regularly Lara went 16-for-38 (.421) with three doubles, three RBI, four stolen bases and a 11:4 BB:K over his last 10 games with Single-A Carolina.

Impact Lara has shined since making his first appearance with Carolina in early May, and through 154 plate appearances he owns a .323 batting average and .448 OBP -- marks that would both rank second in the Carolina League if he qualified. That's not too shabby for a prospect who will not turn 19 years old until November.

Impact The 18-year-old is getting his first taste of affiliated ball, and he is making the most of the opportunity, posting an .825 OPS over his first 57 plate appearances. He has recorded only a pair of extra-base hits, but he has shown a key eye at the plate, walking 10 times while striking out only five. Lara signed for over $1 million in 2022, so the Brewers clearly believe in his potential.
