Blake Snell - Hopes for short-term absence Snell revealed Monday that he had been dealing with left shoulder inflammation for the past three weeks before landing on the injured list Sunday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Ti...
Impact Snell thought he could pitch through the issue and that it would eventually subside, but he was unable to get through his last bullpen session, necessitating an IL move. The southpaw hopes to miss only a couple weeks of action, but it would not be a surprise if the Dodgers exercise more caution with their $182 million investment. Los Angeles will expand its rotation to six men this week, and Justin Wrobleski and Landon Knack are expected to be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to fill the two openings Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Noah Miller - Recovering from knee surgery Miller is in extended spring training while he recovers from meniscus surgery, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact Miller slashed .244/.318/.315 with six home runs and seven steals in 134 games last season, primarily at High-A. He will presumably head to Double-A Tulsa when healthy around the end of April.

Eriq Swan - Building up in extended ST Swan is building up in extended spring training, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact Swan was one of the most impressive pitchers in the Arizona Fall League (14:1 K:BB in 8.2 innings) after logging 22.2 innings at Single-A, so he will presumably head to Single-A or High-A once cleared. The fact that he is still building up likely means he suffered some sort of injury earlier in camp or prior to reporting to camp, but Callis reports Swan should be back by the end of April.

Chase Harlan - Recovering from hip surgery Harlan is in extended spring training rehabbing from hip surgery, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact Harlan was reportedly bothered by a hip injury as a junior and senior in high school and had surgery after the Dodgers selected him with the 98th pick in last year's draft. Once cleared, Harlan could begin his pro career in the Arizona Complex League or be sent to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Andy Pages - Getting first day off Pages is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Impact Tommy Edman will pick up the start in center field in place of Pages, who had been included in the lineup in each of the Dodgers' first 11 games of the season. The Dodgers aren't yet prepared to the pull the plug on Pages as an everyday player, but he's likely on a shorter leash after slashing .118/.268/.147 with a 34.1 percent strikeout rate over his first 41 plate appearances.
