ImpactIt's Tyler Anderson's turn, but the Angels are off Sunday and would rather have Anderson available in relief, if needed. The matchup for Detmers is a difficult one, but he's been on a roll over his last five starts with a 1.42 ERA and 43:10 K:BB in 31.2 innings. One of his outings during that stretch came against the Dodgers, as he blanked them for seven frames back on June 20.

Anthony Rendon - Could return on FridayRendon (shin) could return to the Angels' lineup as soon as Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
ImpactRendon is not in Wednesday's lineup after fouling a ball off his left shin Tuesday. The Halos aren't putting him on the injured list yet, though, because he could be ready after the off day Thursday. Rendon will be evaluated the next two days and if it's determined he does need to go on the IL, he'd be eligible to return the second game after the All-Star break.
