James Hoyt - Sent to Triple-A Hoyt was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.
Impact The veteran righty joined the big-league roster last week and gave up a run over 3.2 innings across three appearances. Hoyt has allowed a run on three hits with a 7:5 K:BB over 5.1 frames for the season, and he could rejoin the Angels later in the year.

Aaron Slegers - Joins big-league club Slegers was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.
Impact The right-hander was sent to Triple-A in late May, and he'll rejoin the Halos after spending the past couple weeks in the minors. Slegers has struggled in 2021 with a 6.30 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB across 20 innings.
