Impact Pilkington won't be off the big-league roster for long, as it was announced Wednesday that he is in line to start the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins. Hunter Gaddis was recalled to take Pilkington's spot on the roster for the time being.

Hunter Gaddis - Called up to start Gaddis was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
Impact It was announced Wednesday that Gaddis would be called up to start the following day, and the Guardians made the move official Thursday morning. Gaddis was tagged for eight earned runs over 3.1 innings in his August 5 big-league debut, but he was sharp in his last two starts with Columbus, posting a 2.31 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB over 11.2 innings.
