Starting Tuesday's contest Roupp will start Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Impact It will be the first major-league start for Roupp, who went four scoreless relief inning and threw 61 pitches in his last appearance on Sept. 5 versus the Diamondbacks. The righty has split time between the rotation and bullpen this season at Triple-A Sacramento but hasn't gone more than four frames in any outing in the majors and minors in 2024, so he'll be relatively limited from a workload perspective.

Impact Roupp was called upon for a 61-pitch appearance after Blake Snell threw 42 pitches and was pulled after one inning. Roupp's strong outing spared the Giants' bullpen a bit.
