Secures first victory Harrison (1-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Royals, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out six.
Impact Maikel Garcia's two-run homer during the third inning was all the damage Kansas City could muster against Harrison, who threw 55 of 90 pitches for strikes while generating 25 called-or-swinging strikes. The left-hander has yet to make it through six frames in his first two outings of the season, but it's otherwise been a strong start to the campaign with three runs allowed and a 14:3 K:BB in 10.1 innings.

Strikes out eight in 2026 debut Harrison allowed one run on four hits and one walk across five innings in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Rays. He struck out eight.
Impact Harrison's lone blemish was a leadoff home run surrendered to Yandy Diaz in the top of the first inning. Acquired from the Red Sox over the offseason, Harrison's debut was an encouraging one after he spent much of 2025 at the Triple-A level with the Giants and Red Sox. Harrison has the stuff to be a factor in mixed fantasy leagues, and his next start is scheduled for Sunday in Kansas City.

Brandon Woodruff avoids IL stint and will start Brewers' 5th game of the season

Milwaukee’s Brandon Woodruff will be ready to start the season on time

Making Brewers debut March 30 Harrison (finger) is slated to make his Brewers debut March 30 against the Rays, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Harrison had to depart his last Cactus League outing due to a blister on his left index finger, but it will not keep him from making a start during the Brewers' first turn through their rotation. Acquired from the Red Sox this offseason in the Caleb Durbin trade, Harrison permitted 12 runs (eight earned) in 9.2 innings this spring but had an encouraging 15:3 K:BB.

Poised to avoid IL Harrison (finger) completed a bullpen session Saturday and is expected to be included on the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Harrison exited his final Cactus League start Wednesday after developing a blister on his left index finger, but his ability to throw off a mound just a few days later puts him on track to avoid a stint on the injured list to begin the season. Milwaukee hasn't yet indicated if Harrison will pitch in either of the team's final two exhibition games Monday and Tuesday versus the Reds, but assuming the finger didn't present any issues for him during his recent bullpen session, the southpaw should be ready to make his first turn through the Milwaukee rotation once the regular season gets underway. The Brewers are still deciding where to slot Harrison in the pitching order based on the status of Brandon Woodruff (lat), who has been build up slowly during the spring but is also trending toward being included in the season-opening rotation.

Impact Harrison tossed 59 pitches across 2.2 frames and allowed four runs (one earned) on four hits while striking out three before being removed from Wednesday's contest. The blister may prevent the 24-year-old southpaw from pitching during the rest of spring training, but it's unclear whether the injury will keep him out of the first rotation cycle of the regular season, which kicks off March 26 against the White Sox.

Hits high note again Harrison allowed one earned run over 3.0 innings in Sunday's spring game against the Mariners. He gave up two hits, struck out eight batters and walked two.
Impact Harrison shined while tossing three frames in an exhibition matchup against the British national team last week, and he did the same Sunday in his first official appearance of the spring. Over the two outings Harrison allowed just one earned run and posted a 10:3 K:BB, so he is making a strong case to break camp with a spot in the big-league rotation.

Debuts with Brewers Harrison tossed 3.0 scoreless innings in Tuesday's exhibition game against the British national team. He gave up two hits, struck out two and walked one.
Impact Harrison was acquired from the Red Sox less than a month ago, and he got into his first game with the Brewers on Tuesday. The results were exceptional, thanks in part to the addition of a changeup to his arsenal, as noted by Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Harrison has had mixed results at the big-league level, but he is a former top prospect who has tossed 194.2 innings in the majors and owns a career K/9 of 8.8. It's unclear exactly how Milwaukee's rotation will shake out, but Harrison -- just 24 years old -- is firmly in the mix for a spot.
