Sheets' 3-run homer in 9th lifts Padres over Brewers 3-1 after another Misiorowski scoreless outing

Gavin Sheets hit a three-run homer off Abner Uribe with two outs in the ninth inning, and the San Diego Padres overcame Jacob Misiorowski’s third straight scoreless outing to beat...

Fans six in short start Harrison allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six batters over four innings in a no-decision against the Yankees on Saturday.
Impact Harrison's outing began poorly, as he gave up a leadoff homer to Paul Goldschmidt in the first inning. The lefty hurler bounced back to an extent after that, giving up just one more run across his four frames, though he also issued four free passes and needed an inefficient 77 pitches to get through those four innings. His final frame was particularly stressful, as New York loaded the bases with nobody out, but Harrison was able to save his final line from blowing up by yielding just one run. This was far from his most impressive appearance, but Harrison still carries a strong 2.41 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB through 33.2 innings spanning seven starts.

Delivers quality start in third win Harrison (3-1) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-1 victory over the Nationals, allowing one run on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.
Impact After a rough week for the Brewers rotation that saw both Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) and Jacob Misiorowski (hamstring) leave their starts early, Harrison gave his team some much-needed length. The southpaw tossed 66 of 93 pitches for strikes en route to his second straight quality start, and he still has yet to give up more than two runs in any outing this season. Harrison will take a 2.12 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 35:9 K:BB through 29.2 innings into his next trip to the mound, which is set to come at home next weekend against the Yankees.

Career-high 12 Ks in win Harrison (2-1) earned the win Sunday against the Pirates, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk in six innings. He struck out 12.
Impact The left-hander was magnificent Sunday, recording an astounding 23 whiffs en route to fanning a career-high 12. After he didn't reach the 80-pitch marker in either of his prior two starts, it was also encouraging to see Harrison throw a season-high 101 pitches in his first scoreless outing of the year. Harrison is next set to take a stellar 2.28 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB over 23.2 innings into a favorable matchup against Washington.

Early exit in no-decision Harrison didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks over three-plus innings in a 12-4 rout of the Tigers. He struck out three.
Impact Making his first start since April 11 due to wrist and knee soreness, Harrison looked good through three innings before running into trouble in the fourth by loading the bases with nobody out. The left-hander got the hook after 72 pitches (39 strikes), but Grant Anderson was able to escape the jam by letting only one of the inherited runners cross the plate. Harrison sports a 3.06 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB through 17.2 innings over four outings, and he'll look to provide a little more length in his next start, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Pirates.

Tigers host the Brewers, try to extend home win streak

The Detroit Tigers host the Milwaukee Brewers aiming to extend a six-game home winning streak
APRIL 21 • Associated Press
Ready to start Tuesday The Brewers list Harrison (wrist/knee) as their probable starter for Tuesday's series opener in Detroit.
Impact Harrison had been lined up to make a start this weekend in Miami, but the Brewers ended up pushing the southpaw back in their pitching schedule while he continued to tend to a sore left wrist and knee discomfort coming out of his previous outing April 11. Per MLB.com, Harrison completed a bullpen session Saturday, and with the 24-year-old apparently checking out fine following the workout, he'll be cleared to rejoin the rotation. Milwaukee called up Coleman Crow to make a spot start Friday in Harrison's stead, but Crow has since been optioned back to Triple-A Nashville.

Lined up to start in Detroit series Harrison (knee/wrist) will make a start during next week's three-game series in Detroit that begins Tuesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Harrison injured his knee and wrist while covering first base in his last outing Saturday against the Nationals. Coleman Crow is making a spot start Friday versus the Marlins in Harrison's place, but the left-hander will be ready to take his next turn. Harrison has collected a 3.07 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB across 14.2 frames in his first three starts this season.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to have start pushed Per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, the Brewers are expected to push Harrison's (knee/wrist) start back a few days.
Impact Harrison injured both his knee and left wrist during his last outing against the Nationals on Saturday. He's not expected to go on the injured list after additional imaging came back negative, but the Brewers look like they will give the 24-year-old southpaw additional time to recover. Harrison was in line to start Friday against the Marlins, and Robert Gasser could be called up from Triple-A for a spot start. Harrison could be back in the Brewers' rotation for next week on the road against the Tigers.

Murphy: Brewers Receive 'Bad News' With Injury of Another Star Player
Avoids significant injury Harrison (knee/wrist) underwent an MRI, which came back clean Sunday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Harrison was dealing with some knee discomfort after tossing 4.1 innings, surrendering two runs on four hits and a walk while punching out four batters in his outing Saturday against Washington. The southpaw took a throw off his knee from teammate Gary Sanchez while trying to cover first base in the first inning, ultimately causing him to take a fall. The team had him undergo additional imaging, and he appears to have avoided any significant damage, though Harrison is still dealing with some soreness in his wrist from the wipeout. The 24-year-old's status will be worth keeping an eye on ahead of his next tentative start Thursday against Toronto.

Impact Harrison didn't have a great outing Saturday, but there didn't seem to be any indication he was dealing with a knee issue during the start. Nonetheless, manager Pat Murphy said after the contest that both Harrison and Brandon Sproat, who also pitched Saturday, are getting postgame knee exams. Results of the testing should provide more insight about whether either hurler is in danger of missing any time.
