Structural damage in shoulder Imaging revealed structural damage in Lee's left shoulder Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Impact Lee landed on the injured list Monday due to a dislocated shoulder, though it appears he may be at risk of missing an extended period of time. The 25-year-old outfielder will receive a second opinion from Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Thursday, at which point more will be known about the duration of Lee's absence. Luis Matos has started both games in center field for the Giants since Lee went down.

Dealing with dislocated shoulder Lee (shoulder) suffered a dislocated left shoulder Sunday and will undergo an MRI on Monday according to manager Bob Melvin, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Lee was exited Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Reds in the first inning with a dislocated left shoulder and he could be set for an extended absence now. More information will be provided following Monday's MRI, but a trip to the injured list is certainly on the table for the 25-year-old.

Impact Lee was forced to leave Sunday's series finale with Cincinnati after he ran into the outfield wall after suffering what is now understood to be a left shoulder strain. The 25-year-old now appears set for an extended absence after making his return from a foot injury Sunday. If Lee ultimately ends up on the injured list, Tyler Fitzgerald would stand to see an increase in workload in San Francisco's outfield.

Impact Lee crashed into the outfield fence attempting to make a catch in the top of the first inning. He fell to the ground and immediately grabbed his left shoulder, and the athletic trainer was holding Lee's left arm as they walked off the field. Lee is coming off a three-game absence due to a sore foot, and it appears the 25-year-old is set to miss even more time with what appears to be a more significant injury. Tyler Fitzgerald has taken over at center field for the rest of Sunday's game.

Impact Lee has hit safely in 11 straight games, going 17-for-48 (.354) in that span. The 25-year-old has looked like a natural fit for the Giants' leadoff spot, slashing .289/.330/.398 over 91 plate appearances this season. He's added two homers, seven RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and two stolen bases on four attempts. Lee may sit against the occasional southpaw, but he's in no danger of slipping to platoon-level playing time.

Impact The hamstring tightened up on Lee during Wednesday's game. That the Giants are saying they expect him back in a few days certainly suggests the injury is minor, but hamstring issues do have a tendency to linger. It puts a cloud of uncertainty over Lee especially for those in fantasy drafts this weekend.

Inks six-year contract with Giants Lee signed a six-year, $113 million contract with the Giants on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Impact Lee was also being courted by the Yankees, Mets and Padres, but he'll head to San Francisco to become the team's new everyday center fielder and could quickly emerge as a regular top-of-the-order presence. The 25-year-old never hit for a ton of power during his seven seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization, but he showed tremendous on-base skills in compiling an overall .340/.407/.491 slash line across nearly 4,000 plate appearances. This six-year agreement with the Giants contains an opt-out after the 2027 season, when Lee would be 29 years old.
